Chester Borough/Township Consolidation

The Borough of Chester and the Township of Chester are in the process of studying the concept of consolidation.  The Commission members are Chester Borough Mayor Dennis Verbaro, Chester Borough Council Members Robert Davis and Valle Schloesser, Chester Township Mayor William Cogger and Chester Township Council Members Brian Murphy and Matt Kass.  Councilman Murphy is the Chair of the Commission.  The Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Chester Borough Municipal Building, 300 Main Street.  The public is welcome to attend.  For more information, click here to access the Chester Consolidation website.
